Shipping Options 

We currently ship to Canada and the USA.

We have 3 methods for getting your package to you, all of which can be selected at Checkout:

1) Free Curbside/In-Store Pickup

We offer FREE Curbside/In-Store pickup at our Abbotsford storefront. Please ensure that you, or someone you know, is able to visit our storefront during our Hours of Operation in order to collect your order. You can learn more about the Curbside Pickup process by clicking here!

2) Parcel Shipping

We work with a wide range of shipping providers to offer you the lowest possible rates for your region and package size. Shipping rates are calculated LIVE at checkout and are viewable before you make any payment, thus allowing you to choose the best option for you.

Please note: We do not set the Shipping Rates, they are set by the Shipping Providers.

Shipping Providers currently include: Canada Post, Purolator, UPS, CanPar, FedEx, and Loomis. Depending on your location, packages should arrive in 1-8 business days.

All parcel shipping options automatically come with tracking, and are automatically insured for the first $100 of your order. If you’d like to purchase more insurance because your order is more than $100, see the next section or click here to learn how to do so.

3) Canada Post Lettermail

For a $6.95 flat rate, we can ship any small orders under 500g in weight and less than 2cm in thickness any where in Canada (e.g. 2 meters of quilting cotton)!

Lettermail can take anywhere between 2 to 7 business days to arrive. Be aware that Lettermail comes with no tracking or insurance and as a result, we are not responsible for any lost or stolen mail. If you want to ensure you are covered for loss or theft, or if you require tracking, then please select any one of the various Parcel shipping providers at checkout.

Please note: If you don’t see Lettermail as an option for shipping, it means your order is too heavy or thick to go by Lettermail. If buying fabric, try reducing your order by a quarter or half metre and then see if the Lettermail option pops up.

Shipping Times

All shipping times displayed at Checkout are provided by the Shipping Providers and not by us, and are the time it will take for your order to reach you once the Shipping Providers pick up your order from us, NOT the time it will take from the moment you place your order.

However, we always endeavour to cut and prepare your orders for shipping the same business day or next business day (depending on when you place your order and how busy we are with in-store customers).

Please note: We are closed Sundays & Mondays so any orders placed late on Saturday, and anytime on Sunday and Monday, will be processed once we re-open on Tuesday.

Please note: Most Shipping Providers don't pickup or ship on weekends.

Shipping Insurance

Every parcel order we ship automatically includes Liability Coverage against loss or damage for the FIRST $100 of the order. This applies to all shipping options from all our Shipping Providers, Canada Post, UPS, etc. However please note, this excludes the $6.95 Flat Rate Canada Post Lettermail option.

So if your order is valued over $100, though not required, we recommend you consider adding additional liability coverage to your order (especially if you live in a remote location).

The cost to add additional coverage, regardless of shipping provider is $3.50 per additional $100 you wish to insure. So if your order is less than $100, you don't need to purchase any. See below for some examples

How much does shipping cost? How is it calculated?

The cost to ship your order is calculated at checkout. You will know the total cost to ship to you before you pay for your oder.

The cost of shipping calculated by Canada Post and is based on the total weight of your order and the volume (length x width x height).

Do you offer flat rate shipping?

Unfortunately, we do not offer flat rate shipping. We do have competitive shipping rates as we work with several shippers to find you the best rate.

Where do you ship orders to? Do you ship to the US or internationally?

We offer shipping to both Canada and the USA. Shipping rates will be calculated live at checkout. 

For orders outside of Canada and the USA, please email us. 

How long will my order take to ship?

Due to COVID-19, we are seeing a high order volumes and are working to fulfill them as soon as possible. Order processing time can take between 1-3 business days. We will notify you as soon as your order leaves out store to be delivered. Delivery time via Canada Post varies depending on the shipping priority chosen at checkout (Expedited, Xpresspost or Priority).

I already paid for an order, can I add more to it and have it all shipped together?

Unless a request to add certain products not found on our website was made in the order note section at the bottom of the cart prior to checkout, we will not be able to add additional items to an order that was already paid for. You will need to place a new order with us to be processed separately.
