/metreLoretta Gould a Mi’kmaq artist, quilter and painter who loves bright, beautiful colors. She was born in 1976 and grew up on the Waycobah First Nation. Her career started as a quilter, but in 2010 she decided to make art quilts. After 2013 Loretta started painting after her machine broke down and since then, she has painted beautiful pieces and sold them in countries such as Germany, Finland and others. Loretta sees her art as a way to communicate her feelings and express them in fabric for her quilts and acrylic mediums for her canvases.Her dream is to share her art around the world.
