Is my order ready for pickup?

We will send an email notification when your order is ready. It is only after then we can guarantee your order will be ready for pickup when you arrive. Please see our Contactless Pickup Instructions to ensure your pickup goes smoothly.

When will my order be ready?

Due to current order volumes, orders will be processed and fulfilled from our store in Abbotsford, BC within 1-3 business days. We will be processing orders in the order we receive them, no matter how big or small.

I just got an email, is my order ready?

You will receive 2 emails from Overseas Fabrics.

  1. "Order Confirmation" 
    This means we have received your order and will be processing it soon.
  2. "Your Overseas Fabrics Order is Ready!" 
    This means our staff has prepared your order and it is ready for pickup. See Order Pickup Hours.

I just placed an order online, can I pick it up now?

Please wait for when we notify you that your order is ready for pickup before coming to our store. It is only after then we can guarantee your order will be ready for pickup when you arrive. Please see order process time.

My order is small, can you get my order ready first?

Every single purchase is important to us. Unfortunately, we can not prioritize fulfilling one order before another. We will be processing orders in the order we receive them, no matter how big or small.

I placed more than one order, can I pick them all up at the same time?

If you would like to pick up all of your orders at once, please wait until you received emails stating each of your orders are ready for pickup. It is only after then we can guarantee all your orders will be ready for pickup when you arrive.

Can I pickup my order on the weekend?

Our order pickup hours are Monday-Friday 11:00AM - 4:00PM. We are not in the store Saturday and Sunday. Due to COVID-19, we have temporarily reduced our store hours for the health and safety of our staff and customers.

Can I send someone to pickup my order for me?

Yes, please let us know if you will be sending someone to pickup your order for you. They will need to provide the order# (see your confirmation email for order#) and customer name to pickup the order.

When I come to pickup my order, can I purchase more things from your store while I'm there?

Unfortunately due to COVID-19, we will not be able to allow any purchases from our storefront in Abbotsford. In order to remain open to serve our community, we need to take precautions to preserve the health and safety of our staff and all customers. All purchases must be made online.

I can't come to pickup my order any time soon, will you store my order for me?

We encourage everyone to stay home to prevent the spread of COVID-19. If you are unable to pickup your order from our store in the near future, please let us know. We will happily store your order for future pickup date at no addition charge. 

I am immunocompromised. What is your pickup procedure?

We have taken several precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We have established strict contactless pickup protocols to protect our staff and customers; keeping face-to-face interactions at a safe distance and at a minimum. How much does shipping cost? How is it calculated?

The cost to ship your order is calculated at checkout. You will know the total cost to ship to you before you pay for your oder.

The cost of shipping calculated by Canada Post and is based on the total weight of your order and the volume (length x width x height).

Do you offer flat rate shipping?

Unfortunately at this time, we are unable to offer flat rate shipping. It is something we are working towards as our online store grows and as we continue to build a closer shipping relationship with Canada Post.

Where do you ship orders to? Do you ship to the US or internationally?

We currently offer shipping via Canada Post to locations within Canada. We hope to be shipping internationally very soon! If you are an American customer, please contact us directly for purchasing and shipping enquiries.

How long will my order take to ship?

Due to COVID-19, we are seeing a high order volumes and are working to fulfill them as soon as possible. Order processing time can take between 1-3 business days. We will notify you as soon as your order leaves out store to be delivered. Delivery time via Canada Post varies depending on the shipping priority chosen at checkout (Expedited, Xpresspost or Priority).

I already paid for an order, can I add more to it and have it all shipped together?

Unless a request to add certain products not found on our website was made in the order note section at the bottom of the cart prior to checkout, we will not be able to add additional items to an order that was already paid for. You will need to place a new order with us to be processed separately.
