With over 90,000 fabrics in-store, you know we got you covered:
Happy Friday everyone! As most of you probably know, we are an Indo-Canadian family business so we’d like to wish ALL of our loyal customers a Happy Diwali (Hindu – Festival of Lights) and a Happy Bandi Chhor Divas (Sikh – Day of Freedom)! It was actually yesterday but we were so busy, we couldn’t even share this post, but the celebrations will go on all weekend! You’ll see people will be lighting up their homes, throwing huge feasts, giving gifts and spending time with their families. And if this rain lets off, you’ll even see a ton of fireworks going off ✨
Happy Wednesday everyone! Ugh it’s so grey and dreary outside… let’s get some colour up in here! @joeldewberryfabric is perfect for that! Personally one of our favourite designers! Such bold use of colours and shapes in his quilting cottons, you can’t go wrong! All of these, just like the rest of our new shipment of quilting cottons can be found in our BUY 1 METRE GET 1 METRE FREE section in Aisle 2 #theboldandthebeautiful
We are a family run business that first opened up our doors in 1993 and since then, it’s been an amazing ride. Our store has transformed in many ways and we are proud of how unique it has become. However there are 3 specific aspects that makes our store unique which has let us thrive for the last 20 + years:
1) Largest Store of its Kind - There are many different kinds of customers looking for specific types of fabric. In fact, the retail fabric industry has been divided in this regard but many people don’t realize it. For example, you have your General Fabric Stores, Quilt Shops, and Indian Boutiques; all of which sell fabric. Each store offering a unique selection to satisfy their specific customers. But we thought to ourselves, “Why doesn’t anyone merge all 3 of those stores into 1?” So we did. We are the first store of our kind to house general, quilting and Indian fabric into one space and our customers absolutely love it. Here you can get selection that you will never find anywhere else. Each fabric community is dipping into each other’s fabric and exploring a new world of possibilities.
2) Volume Discounts – We all love hearing 50% off, 70% off or even 90% off. But deep down, we know that we aren’t always getting that deal. Retailers initially inflate prices and then cut it down by 50% so the end customer feels as though they are getting a deal. Worse off, customer are forced to then wait for a sale as they can't afford the regular inflated prices. So, how do we counteract that? No sales, we just do volume discounts! Same low price year round but to make it even better, if you buy more than 1 or 2 metres, we give you a greater discount. (For example, $5 a metre but if you buy 2 metres or more, we make it $3 a metre). Same price year round so you never have to wait for the sale. Sew when you want to sew.
3) Service is Paramount – Sewing isn’t easy nor is it second nature to many customers. We understand that. We understand that putting together a dress, quilt, or tutu can be challenging. We understand you may not exactly know what fabric you need or how much of it. Which is why we consider ourselves fabric consultants. Just come to us and we will help you with your project. All the selection in the world means diddly-squat if you don’t know where to start.
For these reasons and more, we have been blessed to service clientele from surrounding regions such as the Fraser Valley (Hope, Chilliwack, Mission, Matsqui, Aldergrove, Agassiz), Interior (Williams Lake), Vancouver Island (Victoria, Duncan, Nanaimo), Okanagan Valley (Kelowna, Kamloops, Vernon), Washington State (Sumas & Bellingham) and the Greater Vancouver Area (Langley, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Richmond, Port Moody, Pitt Meadows, New Westminster, Delta, White Rock, Surrey, Maple Ridge, Burnaby, Pitt Meadows)
